This Thursday the first batch of teams will complete their six weeks at startup school and many of them will announce their plans to move forward.
The last weeks have been quite intense both for the teams and the Tetuan Valley crew. We have seen teams working around the clock to prepare for the challenges ahead, coding their backend while designing logos and tackling user interfaces, laying out their strategy while Twittering, and networking while they study finance. Their guest posts on this blog have also presented them as valuable community members that understand what they are getting themselves into, which thanks to the media support including an article in a financial newspaper (Spanish), was an issue from day 1. On the other hand, Alex, Bernando and myself have struggled to .rar all the materials into 2 hour sessions so the classes rarely ended before midnight (perhaps we should rebrand as “night school”)
Two months ago Marina Zaliznialk from Techcrunch EU asked how we would measure success and it is now time to analyze the results and start planning for the Startup School Spring 2010 edition to be announced over the next few weeks.
Stay tuned for the final versions of the elevator pitches and final schedule for Demo Day
