In this post from the iBigBang team, formed by Fernando Gil Rodríguez, Cristóbal Miranda Puente and Daniel Miranda Puente, they are presenting their project. You can keep up-to-date with iBigBang progress on their blog, and website.

Think Big

First session of the Startup School of TetuanValley has exceeded by far our expectations. We have had very good references, but we are fascinated with the course.

We have heard lots of ideas, great advices, valuable encouragement and strength to take the first steps in this exciting adventure. We have found smart people and fantastic pizza that we hope to find every Wednesday. We hope we can give our humble opinion and help to all partners.

From this first lesson we want to remark one idea that is the essence of our project: Think Big.

Think Big

The first thing a user could think about iBigBang, is that it is a web service where you can organize your bookmarks and search for information in different ways. But it is more than that. It is a new way of understanding the Internet and to spread the knowledge of it.

iBigBang name has born from different concepts:

  • “BigBang” as the origin of all, the new life, a new way of understanding the Internet.

  • “i” from Internet and from IT (Information Technologies) because it is a state-of-the-art platform and technology. But also “i” from personal use, because in iBigBang the user is the master, the administrator, the owner, and he can do whatever he wants to adapt the Internet to his own needs.

Find new ways to discover and organize the big galaxy of web pages by a combination of the traditional searching algorithms (page rank and tag categories) with the new revolutionary techniques based on the experience of other users. There is more information about iBigBang into the web page, so take a minute to browse it if you are interesting on it.

There is a really big question in the net: What’s more? And here is the answer: iBigBang
