Looking for research-oriented developers: DevCSI Collaborations Workshop on March, Edinburgh

The DevCSI project helps software developers by creating the ideal conditions for them to be able to learn, network, share ideas and collaborate. To help developers partner with researchers, DevCSI have offered to pay for registration and reasonable expenses for developers who wish to attend the Collaborations Workshop on 3-4 March 2011  (Edinburgh, UK).

They want to hear from developers who are keen to work with researchers from any discipline. This could be to provide extra development effort on interesting open-development projects, partnering with research groups or simply attracting users for the software you have developed.

To take part in this offer, email info@software.ac.uk and provide your name, contact details, organisation details and a paragraph or two describing the work you’ve completed and the reason why you can help with collaborative projects in the research domain.

The closing date for this offer is 18 February 2011. Once they’ve received the applications they will get in touch with the developers who they think are best suited to work with researchers at the Collaborations Workshop.

More details will appear on the Collaborations Workshop website:

UPDATE: Our fault, the event in in Edinburgh, not London. Sorry for the mistake!
